English Breakfast is one of the most popular tea blends.

This small leaf tea is a full bodied, fragrant blend of small black tea leaves with a coppery coloured brightness. The maltiness, strength and pungency of the Assam is perfectly complimented by the characterful and beautifully flavoured Ceylon.

It has the ability to wake and stimulate the metabolism and aid digestion of a full English.

Use about 1-1.5 teaspoons of dried tea leaves per cup of water. Pour water boiled to 100°C over the tea leaves and let them steep for about 3-5 minutes. Do not steep for too long to avoid the bitter taste. Instead, add more tea leaves if you want a stronger flavour.

It is usually taken with milk, but also works well on its own.
