Our Green Gunpowder Tea is a celebrated Chinese green tea, named for its tightly rolled grey-green leaves that resemble gunpowder pellets. When steeped, they unfurl to reveal a golden-green liquor with a subtle smokiness, delicate nuttiness, and a clean, crisp finish.
Naturally rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, this tea supports wellness while offering a refreshing alternative to heavier brews. A versatile choice, it can be enjoyed hot for gentle warmth or iced for an invigorating lift.
To brew, pour cooled boiled water (ideally 80-85ºC) over the tea leaves and let them steep for about 2-3 minutes. Do not steep for too long to avoid the bitter taste. Instead, add more tea leaves if you want a stronger flavour.
